Everyone at Chambers Tamworth was thrilled to be asked to take part in the Spooks and Sparklers campaign for the third year running.
A Tamworth Community Safety Partnership campaign, Spooks and Sparklers aims to encourage responsible and safe behaviour over this Halloween and Bonfire night period and spread a safety message.
The Mazda 6 has been used by the partnership to visit schools around Tamworth to promote a safety messages around Trick or Treating and fireworks. In the evening the car has been used to undertake patrols. It’s hoped the campaign will reassure residents, reduce anti-social behaviour and educate young people and their parents in a fun and interactive way.
The evening patrols have been focused around areas that have experienced ASB in the hope to educate and inform young people about keeping safe themselves and being aware of who they may scare with their actions over Halloween.
Now in it’s third year, the campaign has been credited with reducing ASB. Janice Howes, Franchise Director at Chambers Tamworth said “We are a family run business, so feel it’s really important to help the community we and our employees live in. This is a fantastic campaign and we are truly delighted to have been asked to be involved with it again.”
