The Ford Tourneo Connect is a flexible MPV designed to be spacious, practical and hardwearing.
A streamlined, stylish exterior aids the aerodynamics of the Tourneo Connect which in turns gives better fuel-economy.
The sliding doors on both sides ensure easy access, even in restricted spaces such as car parks. There are 1,029-litres of boot space, which increases to 2,410-litres with the seats dropped, and with 16 seating configurations, there is flexibility to create luggage and equipment space to suit you.
Three engine options are available on the Tourneo Connect. A three-cylinder, 1.0-litre Ecoboost petrol engine produces 129g/km with a return of 50.4mpg, but it is the 1.6-litre diesel that provides the best economy and efficiency.
The diesel is available in 94 or 133bhp outputs with five- and six-speed gearboxes respectively. The lower-powered option produces 120g/km with economy of 61.4mpg. The Grand Tourneo is only available with diesel engines.
Safety comes as standard on the Tourneo Connect with a comprehensive list of driver assistance technologies. Preventative systems, such as Active City Stop and Hill Start Assist, work with the Ford SYNC with Emergency Assistance to keep all occupants safe, and to respond quickly in the event of an accident. An enhanced airbag system, Emergency Brake Light, Electronic Stability Control (ESC) and Traction Control all contribute to the five-star Euro NCAP rating.
